About the Company

Acme AI is a technology company that helps in automating office work processes. Its AI solutions primarily helps in classification, extraction and management of data from diverse documents thereby reducing manual work and streamline workflow.

AI Use Case

Acme’s AI powered extraction system helps in automatically identifying and then extracting the important information from critical documents like invoices(such as vendor names, amount payable and corresponding dates). Consequently, Acme reduces the time taken for making payments and also ensures accuracy by extracting accurate information from invoices and financial documents.

AI Warranty Contract

Scope of warranty

Acme promises that 95% of the extracted information from the invoices and financial documents will be accurate.

Payout Structure

If Acme fails to meet the defined Scope of Warranty, Acme’s customer will be compensated as follows:

Payout per incorrectly extracted information = 5 * Service fee charged by Acme to its customer
Payout per missed information = 5 * Service fee charged by Acme to its customer

Exclusions

The guarantee does not apply if:

  • Underperformance is attributable to poor quality of the uploaded documents. For example - Blurred texts and skewed images.
  • Underperformance is attributable to incorrect format in the uploaded documents. For example - Handwritten notes or incorrect invoice formats that will not be recognized properly by AI.

Claims Process

In the event of underperformance, Acme’s customer shall notify either Adri AI or the AI provider, no later than 30 days after the interview was conducted. This notification should be accompanied by sufficient supporting evidence.

A good faith judgment will be made to decide if the warranty applies to the submitted claim. If the claim is validated, the customer will be compensated as defined in the Payout structure.

Obligations of AI vendor's customer

Acme’s customer must use the AI document processing software in standard settings and only for the use cases stipulated in the service contract.

Definitions

  • "Customer" refers to the organization that has purchased Acme’s Enterprise service plan.
  • “Underperformance” is said to have occurred if the Scope of Warranty is not fulfilled.
